Character History: Ultron first appeared in the comic The Avengers #54 in 1968.  He first appeared in the movies in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).

Ultron is an advance AI created by Bruce Banner and Tony Stark by accident while trying to create a defense network to protect the Earth from alien threats.  The newly aware Ultron decided that the best way to save the planet was to erase all the humans from it and start over in a robot utopia, with him as the leader.

He is an extremely powerful Infinity figure with a combination of strong melee attacks and a ranged attack that can destroy even the strongest opponents.

Ultron can be used as either a close-range or long-range fighter with equal skill.  He has a number of melee combos that can trigger his powerful finisher move, although he often defeats most enemies before having a chance to use it.  His ranged attack is a sustained power blast that rips through enemies for a few seconds.  He cannot maneuver while using his ranged attack, and is vulnerable if there are several enemies around, or if his attack misses.

His special attack summons lesser robot versions of himself (two by default, but it can be upgraded to four) who attack nearby enemies before exploding in a large area of effect attack.  Although quite powerful, it can be difficult to use effectively.

Upgrading either his melee or ranged attack trees are equally effective, and you can choose which you prefer based on your preferred playstyle.  Ultimately I upgraded both, and neglected his special attack tree aside from a few low-tier upgrades.
